I learned about social computing and blogs. I hope to start a blog for my course to check out whether students are doing the reading for the course.

I will be using a class blog rather than a threaded discussion board the next time I teach online. Why? It looks like it will allow more flexibility and more autonomy for the students.

Suppose there are ...
-a lot of inappropriate words here
-poor writings

how do I prevent others from seeing them?

I see that there is a struggle of choice in eduation with respect to technology. Considering the array of available technologies, the demands by students and the values and knowledge that professors wish to pass on to their successors. What do we do?

I've learned how easy it is to create blogs so I think I'll offer this as a one-on-one session with faculty this fall.

I would like to use a blog instead of Discussion Board. It looks more user-friendly and fun! This is very exciting.

I learned that there are so many resources available-it could be overwhelming.

On the flip side, classes and instruction could be very exciting.

There is lots of new stuff that I need. It will be tough picking out the right tools to work on. Making effective use of some of the new material will be a challenge.

I'm greatly interested in developing a movie since learning a bit about the process. Wish there was more time to talk to the techs since I had millions of questions that I wanted & needed to ask the techs.

Many thanks for the asssitance with my digital camera!

Great job of keeping me (all of us) me involved and learning.
